I do love it though: it's so cute!  I look at this and I think of crayons and stickers.  And breakfast eggs.

By the way, does anyone else see a remarkable and rather unexpected similarity between the facial/bone structures of Jang Dong-Gun and Yoo Jae-Suk's face?  They have like... the same noses...

I really like her style.  I was a little skeptical at first, thinking her to be jumping the I-can-act-but-I-can-do-loads-of-other-things-and-put-them-up-for-auction-and-exhibition-because-I'm-a-celebrity bandwagon, but they're really impressive.  It's quite Chagall-esque (the second one, at least) and I can totally imagine her work displayed as a Nell or Epik High album cover.

And this woman drew this on the Boys Over Flowers set???  Respect...

This is probably as personal as I'm ever going to get here.  But I had to give it a post before I erupt out of excitement.  I can't waaiitt to get out of here and go to college.

So far (in the US), I've got NYU, Boston College and Amherst in the bag.  Williams waitlisted me, but whatever (what does that mean?  Not literally, but what does that imply?  That they want me, kind-of-don't-want-me, think-that-I-don't-want-them, what?)

I will have to choose one of these (and out of hopefully more, come Wednesday).  Some stats:

What's even sadder is that the quality of editing in these fan-videos is better than the editing of the actual series...  Korean netizens/otakus/no-lifes/me-but-with-crazy-ass-skills are insanely talented.  Sometimes I think the world would just be a better place if computer geeks and/or fangirls/boys ruled the world.

This kind of stuff is actually really inspirational, in a way.  Looking at how well the cuts are edited makes me want to be an editor.  If I could watch videos and edit them to make them look like that (↑) for a living, I think I'd live a very enjoyable and exciting life.

If Antigone were a K-Drama...

Boys Over Flowers/花より男子/꽃보다 남자 is getting out of hand.  Especially when you're reading Sophocles' Antigone and thinking about the Makino-Domyouji dynamic.

But seriously.  If Antigone were a K-drama, then Creon would be 40 years younger, HOT, and not wived and stuff.  Antigone would barge in confidently and take her punishment seriously, and Creon would be totally love-struck with her audacity.  He'd be appalled, and yet unconsciously impressed with her courage, and he'd spend loads of time shut up in his chamber trying to understand what exactly he's feeling.  And then he goes outside for a drink of water, and he hears her monologue!  She cries pitifully, and he softens at the display of vulnerability that she dares not show anyone else.  He takes her in his arms, she struggles, and he tries to bargain with her - her life, for her love.  And then... and then...

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
